WE ARE APPALACHIA

Promoting public awareness of Appalachian cultural heritage, the public health syndemic in Appalachia, issues of substance use disorder in Appalachia, and the education of consumers and providers on health technologies to address the syndemic in Appalachia by means of public advocacy; job placement, namely, job placement services through workforce development partners, providing referrals for service providers of general educational development and high school diploma preparation and testing services, providing referrals for service providers of vocational and technical training services, internship placement services; promoting public awareness of Appalachian cultural heritage, the public health syndemic in Appalachia, issues of substance use disorder in Appalachia, and the education of consumers and providers on health technologies to address the syndemic in Appalachia by means of public advocacy through hosting and coordinating partnership consortiums

Arranging and conducting symposia in the field of Appalachian cultural heritage, the public health syndemic in Appalachia, issues of substance use disorder in Appalachia, and the education of consumers and providers on health technologies to address the syndemic in Appalachia; providing job training in the field of Appalachian cultural heritage and the intersection with the public health syndemic in Appalachia; educational services, namely, providing internships to college students and people changing careers in the field of Appalachian cultural heritage and/or public health; arranging and conducting symposia in the nature of hosting and coordinating partnership consortiums in the field of Appalachian cultural heritage, the public health syndemic in Appalachia, issues of substance use disorder in Appalachia, and the education of consumers and providers on health technologies to address the syndemic in Appalachia
