Steam and water processing equipment specially adapted for use with electric autoclaves for reducing fluid temperature while minimizing water consumption, namely, a system consisting of a reservoir, pipes, valves, and sensors that cool effluent using a combination of air, previously cooled effluent and water, said equipment only for use in laboratories and not for the purpose of creating, treating, filtering, purifying, sterilizing or conditioning domestic or commercial water
