Medical devices, namely, obstructing devices which intermittently obstruct a gastric opening or gastrointestinal lumen and slows gastric emptying to induce satiety; medical devices for obesity, obesity related diseases, diabetes, diabetes related diseases and/or for modulating the regulation of hormones, peptides, or proteins, namely, intermittently obstructing devices for the delivery of one or more therapies within the stomach or gastrointestinal tract; medical devices, namely, devices deployed within the stomach or gastrointestinal tract for modulating the regulation of hormones, peptides, or proteins by mechanically interacting with tissue; and delivery instruments in the nature of endoscopy instruments, laparoscopy instruments, pods, tubes, catheters, cannulas, sheaths, sleeves, plungers and/or minimally invasive delivery instruments or devices for delivering, deploying, and/or monitoring the above medical devices
