Stargate wishes to acquire the copyright of the phrase, "That's LA (I like it)" This phrase is used in the Los Angeles Image Campaign, a three and one half minute film in music video format, titled "That's LA (I Like it) with the song of the same name Stargate's song was inspired from KC and the Sunshine Band's hit, "That's the Way (I like it)" Stargate had permission from EMI who owns and copyrighted the original song
