TALKING SIGNS

miniature FM transmitter, operating in the infrared band, which transmits signage information to receivers carried by individuals who are print-handicapped (including, but not limited to, visually handicapped individuals and illiterate individuals); the miniature FM receiver which receives the signage information from the transmitter; a recording device, using EPROM (erasable programmable read only memory) technology, which records the signage information for transmission by the transmitter to the receiver
