Equipment used for quality control and assurance during the construction of deep foundation excavations, namely, equipment in the nature of slide calipers and computer hardware to inspect and provide plan and profile images of drilled shafts, slurry walls, and secant walls, during or after excavation but prior to placing concrete, and to determine diameter, assesses verticality and calculate volume as well as generate three dimensional model of the excavations' shape, wherein such profiled data is also used to improve the analysis and interpretation of subsequent static load tests on the foundation elements
