SMART WIRING

Wiring made "smart" through the use of microelectronics; namely, the prognostic health and/or condition monitoring of wire in complex machinery and/or integrated systems using embedded analog, digital and/or MEMS microsensors for condition identification, microprocessors for data collection and condition analysis, and hard-wired or wireless communications to pass wiring status.
