Dynamic guidance system and building control system comprised of a centralized data processing and system control panel connected directly to a building's pre-existing fire panel, with the capability to connect to other additional applicable data gathering building control systems or infrastructure, to extract information on building conditions, a network of smaller auxiliary control hubs that wireless communicate with the control panel, and a series of wall and/or ceiling mounted indicator lights connected to the auxiliary hubs that light up based on the location and nature of active hazards, which are used to direct people away from the hazard to the safest point egress through the safest path possible, or failing that, direct people to a safe point in the building, intended for use in schools, healthcare centers, government buildings, museums, industrial centers, and large commercial buildings
