Computer software for fine-grained, multi-level transcription and analysis of linguistic data captured on video, and for use as a database consisting of utterances, each associated with a segment of video with a detailed description of that video, and for use as a single environment for both manipulating digital video and linking specific frame sequences to simultaneously occurring linguistic events.
