A network traffic monitoring service that monitors and cleans network traffic from distributed denial of service attacks and other security risks at (a) a customer-premise equipment; (b) a cloud based server to redirect network traffic, when a customer-premise equipment is under a denial of service attack and other security risks, to a scrubbing center to mitigate the attack and transmit clean traffic to its original destination; and (c) a management equipment that enables provisioning, real-time monitoring, reporting and analysis of traffic during attacks
