Metal hardware items used to connect ropes, chains, and wire cables to themselves, each other, or to other objects, such metal hardware items are, namely, hooks; rope clamps; swivels; screw eyes; hitching rings which are metal rings secured to a flat surface via a plate or eye hook fastener to which rope, chains, or wire cables are then connected; rope cleats; shackels which are horseshoe shaped metal items with a locking pin used to secure ropes, chains, and wire cables; pulleys for pulling, lifting, and tightening; rope tighteners for tightening rope that is used to secure items; clamps; clevis-type slip hooks; eye-type slip hooks; chains which are connected links of chain for pulling, towing, and securing; and lap or quick links which are used to connect pieces of chain together to lenghten or repair sections of chain
