Saddle belt, namely a safety harness "seat belt" device attached to a saddle with adequate Break Strength to secure riders from falling off a horse, mule, bull, other animals or devices ridden "horseback" for pleasure rides, competitive events such as rodeo, jumping or equestrian activities or other forms of entertainment riding for the purpose of reducing or avoiding injury to the rider. The belt can be made of a suitable material such as leather, pleather but preferably made of webbing, nylon or other such material and of a suitable width but preferably between one and three quarter inches to two inches that follows industry standards for seat belt widths and of a suitable length but preferably between thirty three inches and sixty inches to provide sufficient adjustable length for a child or a full grown adult. The ends of the belt would have Snap and/or Spring Hooks made of metal, plastic or a hybrid of metal and plastic or other such suitable products in order that these may fasten to a suitable location on the saddle but preferably the Rear Rigging Dee. The "male" fixed Saddle Belt end is secured to the left Rear Rigging Dee and the "female" adjustable Saddle Belt end is secured to the right Rear Rigging Dee. The Buckle or Clasp would be made of metal, plastic or a hybrid of metal and plastic or other such suitable product that allows for secure buckling or clasping and for adjusting similar to a seat belt of a plane or vehicle. The buckle or clasp would have a release such as a Lift Lever ( similar to those in planes ) or a Side Release ( similar to those found on carrying bags) or a Center Release ( similar to those found in automobiles ) for immediate release once the rider dismounts or is required to do so under an emergency situation
