Portable handheld devices comprised of cell telephones, global positioning systems, operating computer software for the foregoing, GPS data loggers for recording locations of persons, all for use in communication between persons to track and locate persons and to communicate between persons and to record and report data as to the location of persons, and parts and accessories therefor, namely, cables for connecting the device to a computer for programming the device and for downloading data, battery chargers for charging the battery in the device, holders for mounting the device on a bicycle or a motorcycle, holders for mounting the device on a car or boat or in a house, holders for mounting the device on a strap of a travel bag, suitcase or other bag, arm strap for mounting the device on a user's arm, neck strap for hanging the device around a user's neck, protective cases for holding the device, and adaptor plugs for permitting the use of a wall plug-in battery charger with electric wall sockets of non-North American countries
