Design and implement retail store layout, product placement, and store signage; Create a retail customer experience incorporating core elements of the client's brand; Create organizational structure for clients, including identifying hires, designing job descriptions, addressing human resources issues, interviewing potential candidates, and setting up corporate organizational structure; Develop standard operating procedures for core retail functions including inventory receiving and management, point-of-sale and related technology, and communication with the main office, employee scheduling and time-keeping, onboarding and customer-facing initiatives such as loyalty programs and buy-online/pick-up in store policies; Work with vendors to deploy and configure on-site retail tech systems for physical locations; Set-up point-of-sale and inventory management systems on-site for physical locations; Set-up stockroom and back-of-house operations for optimal inventory accessibility and accuracy; Analyze retail store product mix and fixtures, create a product layout strategy and store-specific planograms, and develop merchandising standards for the client; execute retail merchandising support, namely, setting up displays and selling products, during new store openings
