REGENTS R MATH MASTERY PROGRAM

Printed educational materials and publications for instructors, namely, printed student placement guidelines for effective placement of students into their math courses including a detailed set of placement protocols outlining requirements students must meet in order to be placed in accelerated classes, as well as requirements students must continue to meet in order to remain in accelerated classes covering Pre-Algebra A (7th grade), Pre-Algebra B (8th grade), Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2; Printed educational materials and publications for instructors, namely, printed documented lists of basic skills and their applications that specify what it is students are expected to master covering Pre-Algebra A (7th grade), Pre-Algebra B (8th grade), Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 wherein each list contains some 15 items designated as "basic skills," and for each skill listed three representative real-world applications problems are given as examples, the skills on the lists being so fundamental and important that they must be mastered and not forgotten; Printed educational materials and publications for instructors, namely, printed course credit and grading protocols for assessment and grading designed to assure that students only receive credit for mathematics when they demonstrate and continue to demonstrate mastery of the skills on the basic skills and application lists covering Pre-Algebra A (7th grade), Pre-Algebra B (8th grade), Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2; Printed educational materials and publications for instructors, namely, a printed set of protocols for establishing what students must do to demonstrate mastery, which is required to receive credit for the course covering Pre-Algebra A (7th grade), Pre-Algebra B (8th grade), Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2; Printed educational materials and publications for instructors, namely, printed implementation protocols for evaluating students' skills in mathematics covering Pre-Algebra A (7th grade), Pre-Algebra B (8th grade), Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2
