The "Rapid Roper" is the commercial name for a unit containing-- two vertical rods and a roller, with two sets of horizontal rollers adjustable at differing heights, and attached to one of the vertical rods; This unit is attached to a "stretch wrap" machine; The actual roll of stretch wrap is center-slit, and each half of the web of film is inserted between the top and bottom rollers, giving it the effect of "roping"; This "roped" stretch film is then attached to a pallet of product being wrapped as the machine's turn-table rotates; The name is used in literature, advertising, and labelled on the actual assembly
