Association services, namely, promoting the interests of pugs owners, breeders and enthusiasts by preserving, protecting, and defending the pug breed and its heritage, promoting and raising awareness of the importance of responsible and ethical dog ownership, care, training, and breeding practices that promote the breed standard, and promoting sportsmanlike conduct at competitive matches and national dog shows; club services, namely, promoting the interests of independent member clubs related to owning, breeding, and showing pugs
