Publications, namely, books, booklets, brochures, newsletters, and pamphlets featuring the science of athletic training, the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries to baseball players and health maintenance and nutrition

Raising funds for and providing undergraduate and graduate scholarships

Training in the field of prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of baseball injuries; and conducting seminars on the application of advanced technology, techniques, scientific data and sports medicine directed to the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of baseball injuries and distributing course material in connection therewith

Association services, namely, promoting and advancing the interests and welfare of professional baseball athletic trainers; acting as a liaison between the Association and professional leagues of baseball; product evaluation and endorsement services; disseminating and exchanging knowledge, ideas, technologies, procedures and scientific data by meetings, conferences, workshops, publications and the Internet in the field of sports medicine relating to the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of baseball injuries; promoting public awareness of safety and health issues, namely, the risks of using tobacco and the benefits of children using proper equipment when engaging in sporting events
