Downloadable software for a handheld computer forming a web-based content delivery platform that enables users to search, view and select content on their handheld computer, including such content as tables of contents of journals or full text information such as drug monographs or any properly structured content and save searches on the handheld computer that automatically executes against web-based bibliographic databases when the user communicates with their computer, and which provides a web-based personal library to manage links and searches to the web-based version of this content and that downloads updated data to the handheld computer
