Computer software for use in acquiring, analyzing, and displaying information from both computer agents and programs which speak Simple Network Management Protocol known as SNMP, and SNMP agent log files known as mibwalks, locally, or over a computer network; software for use in adjusting values of SNMP agents over a network; software for use in compiling a Management Information Base, known as MIB, files into Object Identifiers known as OIDs, and automatically retrieves values for display from said OIDs by querying SNMP agents; software which looks at OIDs, retrieves values based on the types of those OIDs, and analyzes resulting data; software for use in polling various OIDs at certain pre-defamed time periods and displays the results either in a graphic or simple tabular format
