OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY IN MENTAL HEALTH

Publications, namely, journals containing articles relating to the topics of description and application of various frames of reference to support therapeutic practice, studies dealing with measurable outcomes in the areas of social competence, activities of daily living, pre-vocational training, and task performance, use of new evaluation and treatment techniques with reference to group process and activity modalities, description of creative programming and experiences in working with difficult patients and special diagnoses, namely borderline patients and those with anorexia nervosa, interviews with prominent leaders in mental health occupational therapy and related disciplines, effective approaches to new issues in mental health practice, such as AIDS, changes in the delivery of mental health services and their relevance to occupational therapy, important issues in the education of mental health occupational therapists, and clinical and administrative relationships between occupational therapists and activity therapists
