Association services, namely promoting the interests of certified hospice care and palliative nurses by the following means - defining the nature of hospice care and palliative nursing; preparing and reviewing examination questions to test candidates seeking certification in the practice of hospice care and palliative nursing; arriving at eligibility requirements for candidates to be permitted to take an examination to test candidates seeking certification in the practice of hospice care and palliative nursing; sponsoring examinations to test candidates seeking certification in the practice of hospice care and palliative nursing; revoking status of nurses as certified in the practice of hospice care and palliative nursing; and providing appeal mechanisms for challenging revocations of status of nurses as certified in the practice of hospice care and palliative nursing
