Online and in-person educational services; providing online courses and instructional materials; educational seminars; audio and video presentations; course materials; and computer, tablet, and smartphone applications enabling individuals to record advance care planning decisions by typing or by speaking in their own voice—including Living Wills, Durable Powers of Attorney for Healthcare Decisions, supplementary strategic planning documents, and POLSTs or equivalent physicians' or providers' orders for life-sustaining treatment—designed to reduce how long and how much patients and their loved ones must suffer before dying by specifying treatments of last resort that include ceasing assisted feeding and hydration (also called Natural Dying) if patients’ survival depends on such assistance; proportionate sedation (also called moderate anesthesia); rapid palliative sedation to unconsciousness; and, where permitted by applicable law, medical aid in dying.
