miniSODAR is a high frequency Doppler SOund Detection And Ranging (SODAR) system for producing wind profiles from 10 meters to 200 meters; The miniSODAR emits a sound pulse and listens to echo produced by the interaction of the sound pulse with atmospheric turbulence; Meteorological information is derived from the intensity and frequency of this echo.
