Public advocacy to promote awareness of the need for sustainable forestry and agriculture, the need for restoration of wildlife habitats, the need for clean water, the need for new development to fit traditional uses of the land, and the need to reuse historic buildings; charitable services, namely, organizing and developing projects to promote awareness of environmental conservation; business consulting with regards to land conservation, namely, advising individuals, family trusts and businesses on issues of environmental impact, conservation, preservation and protection; business consulting with regards to land conservation easements, namely, advising individuals, family trusts and businesses on the availability and impact of conservation easements; economic analysis for business purposes of various land conservation options for individuals, family trusts and businesses

Providing land conservation services through the acceptance of conservation easements and land donations, the purchase of at-risk properties, and the perpetual monitoring of conservation easements for the benefit of others; charitable services in the nature of land conservation services, namely, acquiring and conveying real property to be conserved for the public benefit as open space, recreational land, or historic sites

Educational services, namely, conducting programs in the fields of natural science, land and water conservation and preservation, and historic preservation

Conservation-focused scientific research conducted by citizen volunteers in the fields of monitoring aquatic habitat health, and identifying and counting populations of animals, birds, butterflies, and other wildlife; wetland habitat development and preservation services, namely, monitoring, testing and analyzing ecological success in the field of environmentally sensitive habitat conservation and preservation of native plants and wildlife; engineering and habitat restoration design services in the field of wetland preservation
