Security hardware circuitry sold as an integral component of microprocessors, and security software sold as an integral component of microprocessors, said software residing in the memory portion of the microprocessors and used to control access to the security hardware circuitry for the purpose of providing a trusted execution environment for host software services to execute by the microprocessor in a secure manner, where the environment is directed toward enforcing a security policy for the executed host software services
