LumiPod is an iPod accessory, (in its first implementation) acts as a self contained 'plug-in', device (a combination flashlight and a safety flasher) system for compatible Apple iPods or other MP3 players; Housed in its own plastic enclosure, having special connectors, it plugs directly into compatible iPods (which have their own proprietary jacks built in); LumiPod will be used with iPods in a variety of activities, including biking, hiking, jogging, walking, camping, and emergencies
