Promote and support lymphatic research, namely, foster an interdisciplinary field of lymphology that will provide health benefits to all individuals and lead to therapeutic advance and a cure for lymphatic disease, lymphedema, and related disorders; foster related medical and scientific disciplines to participate in lymphatic research; increase public and private funding and support for lymphatic research; foster collaboration and the exchange of information and resources within the scientific and medical communities; promote a national tissue bank and patient registry; and administer research grants and awards
