Providing non-downloadable, cloud-based software featuring a custom-built messaging broker with data standardization, validation, high-availability, and redundancy features built on top of the system's messaging protocol. The software includes a standard messaging protocol for devices on the internet to exchange messages with each other, for the temporary use of downloadable software for sharing information between data that have been invited to or subscribed to topics for purposes of discussing and using information in those topics through messages, tracking topic status, sharing uploaded files, knowing when people have viewed a message, and receiving notifications when messages are posted
