Providing a model of service assistance for social service agencies to utilize to support families and individuals who are raising their relative's/close family's children on a longer-term and sometimes permanent basis, namely, support for relatives including grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, adult siblings and non-relatives/fictive kin; Providing services, education and advocacy to help caregivers navigate the various systems they will encounter whether involved in the child protection system, or as a means to prevent involvement with the child protection system when raising their relative's children and effectively utilizing available community and peer resources
