interactive multimedia therapy systems including apparatus and components of apparatus for use by therapists in administering therapy to clients with physical, mental or physical and mental disabilities, namely, apparatus for detecting when a client has performed a desired, volitional movement, apparatus for generating a signal upon the performance of the movement, and apparatus for translating the signal into an effect which stimulates at least one of the client's senses, thereby motivating the client to perform the movement and rewarding the client for performing the movement
