Immersive describes a process that dynamically inserts 3D information into the pages that the website user views on a browser It extracts the 3D data elements from libraries or a database and links these into HTML templates The 3D data elements consist of models to show the form of the product being displayed, control data to show animations, and Javascript components that allow the user to interact with the model When the user interacts with the page, it makes requests for revised models or new functionality A software platform from Cybelius Software enables this process and locates the additional data and passes it to the browser In fulfilling these requests, the platform can get some of its information in real time from enterprise databases and supply chain systems It is this rich presentation of data that allows a user to move from simple interactivity to "immersive" activity in the process or functionality of a 3-D model
