Research projects on environmental issues that affect the dairy industry, namely, scientific research on the handling and treatment of dairy wastes, scientific research on the microbial analysis of plant growth in composted dairy manure, scientific research on copper removal from dairies, scientific research of the effects on air emissions from installation of methane digesters, scientific research on the effects on air emissions from installation of methane digesters, scientific research on the atmospheric emissions from large scale free stall dairies and ammonia emissions from open lot dairies, and scientific analysis of dairy wastewater management on odor, ammonia and greenhouse gases
