Providing a composite summary statistic in the field of residential real estate research that numerically quantifies non-financial consumer response data collected from survey questions, comprised of a weighted average of three indicator indices: (1) an index representing prevailing residential real estate market conditions, (ii) an index representing aspirations for continuing or entering into homeownership, and (iii) an index representing expectations for home affordability and home values in the future, in the field of financial and residential real estate markets; and providing a composite index having components numerically representing non-financial consumer forward-looking attitudes and opinions in the field of residential real estate
