Pedestrian and collision detection systems for use with forklift trucks and other land vehicles, namely, electric or electronic sensors for sensing vehicle impacts, specifically, for detecting the presence of moving or stationary persons or objects in the vicinity of the vehicle in order to prevent impacts with the vehicle
