NAME AND GAME - PROGRAM IS TO BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE GAME OF BASEBALL; PITTING CLASSES OF CONTESTANTS AGAINST EACH 0THER BY GENDER/AGE GROUPS IE;7-8,9-10,11-12,13-14,15-16 AND SENIOR AGE GROUPS IE;55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74,75-99 COMPETITIONS WILL BE HELD THROUGHOUT THE USA; LEVELS OF "LOCAL" COMPETITIONS WILL GRAVITATE TOWARD CITIES HAVING MINOR/MAJOR BASEBALL PROGRAMS WINNING CONTESTANTS FROM EACH LOCAL EVENT WILL ADVANCE TO THE NEXT LEVEL OF COMPETITION, AND EVENTUALLY A GROUP OF NATIONAL WINNERS WILL BE DETERMINED AND AWARDED CERTIFICATES/TROPHIES OF RECOGNITION THE GAMES WILL CONSIST OF THREE EVENTS-- HITTING A REGULATION BASEBALL OFF A HITTING TEE FOR FARTHEST DISTANCE, RUNNING AROUND A REGULATION SIZED BASEBALL DIAMOND FOR FASTEST TIME, AND THROWING A REGULATION BASEBALL FROM HOME PLATE FOR THE FARTHEST DISTANCE THE TWO DISTANCE EVENTS WILL BE ADJUSTED FOR ACCURACY; IE,PENALIZED BY THE RIGHT-ANGLE DISTANCE FROM A STRAIGHT LINE EXTENDING FROM HOME PLATE THROUGH SECOND BASE OUT TO THE CENTER FIELD FENCE SCORES FOR THE DISTANCE EVENTS WILL BE ADDED TO THE SCORE OF RUNNING; WHICH WILL BE DETERMINED BY SUBTRACTING THE TIME IN SECONDS, FOR RUNNING THE HOME-TO-HOME BASE PATH, FROM A SET TIME OF THREE HUNDRED SECONDS (WHICH MAY BE FINE TUNED FOR VARIOUS AGE GROUPS AS APPROPRIATE) THIS NUMBER TOTALED WITH THE TWO DISTANCES IN FEET WILL BE THE SCORE FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL FAILURE TO TOUCH A BASE DURING THE RUN WILL BE PENALIZED AS AN EXAMPLE -- A CONTESTANT HITS A BALL 300 FEET; RUNS THE BASES IN 20 SECONDS; AND THROWS THE BALL 295 FEET THE TOTAL SCORE WOULD BE 300 PLUS 280(300SECONDS LESS 20SECONDS)PLUS 295 EQUALING 875
