H2O Alert is a water alarm that senses water and sound an audble alarm The unit would be used in places where a likely water leak might occur ie under a sink, near a hot water heater, near a washing machine etc Like a smoke detector this unit is powered by battery, can be placed anywhere and will alert if water is present
