Providing an electronic geographic map database featuring roadway, geographic, travel and navigation information with trip routing information that tells consumers how to travel to certain venues, businesses, shops, shopping districts, and destinations; providing travel guidance and services, both in the nature of providing travel information and travel guide services; providing travel directions and arrangements, namely, organization of travel and providing trip routing directions; providing geographic and travel information, geographic information regarding heavily trafficked trip routes, trip routes, walking trip routes, online roadway maps, online map information and online information about trip routes to use to go to various venues, destinations and points of interest, such as landmarks, businesses, stores, restaurants, hospitals and campuses, and providing trip routing information regarding environmentally friendly trip routes, namely, trip routing information for routes that use less fuel, contribute less to smog, that avoid rush hours, that may be done using environmentally friendly modes of travel such as public transportation, all of the foregoing being provided wirelessly and over the internet; providing an on-line computer database of digital maps for use in obtaining travel directions
