Green Glycols are mono ethylene glycol (C2H6O2), mono propylene glycol (C3H8O2), glycerine (C3H8O3), and butylene glycol isomers (C4H10O2) derived from any natural 3, 4, 5, or 6 carbon sugars through a process of hydrogenation and hydrocracking over a catalyst; Green Glycols may have a purity of between 50 and 100% of any one of the above, and also applies to any mixtures of the above; The process of hydrogenation and hydrocracking to produce these glycols has been developed by International Polyol Chemicals, Inc and is presently employed in a joint venture arrangement with Global Bio-Chem Technologies of the People's Republic of China under license from IPCI and Polyol Partners
