Development of voluntary standards for the promotion, understanding and use of universal design in the design and development of buildings, products, and environments to be useable by all people, to the greatest extent possible, without the need for adaptation, retrofitting, or specialized design; testing, analysis, and evaluation of the goods and services of others for the purpose of certification; dissemination of materials consisting of standards and reference and certification materials
