IoS Grid/GEL (Grid Element) is a unit of coordinate square boundary for reference in the access/distribution and management of IoS digital ecology objects within bounded earth space.Grid elements GELs are referred to by coordinates similar to arrays and similar to a square on a checkerboard grid as an unit of digital measure and location.
