"Tie-down wrap" is a soft fabric square (approximately 18"), made of synthetic lambs wool inside and either lambs wool or a waterproof fabric outside, which wraps around a tie down strap (for automobiles, motorcycles, watercraft or other cargo being transported) and secured with "velcro" straps so that they remain in place, covering the metal parts of the tie down strap, so as to prevent the metal on the tie down to come in contact with the item being transported
