Pharmaceutical preparations, namely, hematinic preparations, specifically prenatal vitamins and minerals with omega-3 fatty acids in soft gel form containing DHA, and a tablet form containing a combination of carbonyl and ferrous bisglycinate chelate irons and 1.85 mg of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolate equivalent to 1mg of folate to provide vitamin and mineral supplementation throughout pregnancy and during the postnatal period for both lactating and non-lactating mothers
