Soilmoisture Equipment Corp's "Field Data Radios", configured into a network by radio linking Soilmoisture's Field Data Radios may be associated or tied together via protocol commands to other Soilmoisture Field Data Radios or other vendor radios, and links (not fabricated or developed by Soilmoisture) A typical network consists of 1 assigned "Super Master" and one or more assigned "Secondary Masters" each having up to 8 assigned slave Field Data Radios Super Masters and Secondary Master Field Data Radios may be linked in a variety of ways to one another or to outside data transmission devices such as computers, (desktops, laptops, handheld, palmtop, PDA's) modems, Internet, Intranet, Ethernet, WAN's for local or worldwide transfers of data Super Masters and Secondary Master Field Data Radios may be linked in a variety of ways to 1 or more outside control devices Command and control data sequences are transmitted via the network directly to equipment or PLC's to control and command processes either locally or remotely in the field The networking of 2 or more of Soilmoisture's Field Data Radios in any manner described above shall be considered a Soilmoisture "Field Data Network"
