That information will provide timely and accurate situational awareness—actionable epidemiological intelligence—regarding the health and welfare of individuals, communities, nations, and the global community—permitting health practitioners, first responders, public health officials, and decision makers to achieve early detection, isolation, control, treatment, and eventual eradication of communicable diseases.
