Organizing and conducting community and recreational events in the nature of community festivals featuring a variety of activities, namely, food tasting and educational demonstrations, musical performances, art exhibitions, lectures; providing information about the current events, civic events being cultural and arts events, and education services provided by the community

Animal adoption and shelter services, namely, arranging for animals from shelters to be placed in homes; Firefighting services; Municipal Court services, namely,traffic law enforcement services in the nature of adjudicating violations of traffic laws and regulations; Municipal court services in the nature of adjudicating violations of municipal ordinances; Permitting, namely, obtaining environmental, design, zoning and other governmental permits for residential and commercial development projects; Reviewing standards and practices to assure compliance with environmental, zoning and planning laws and regulations; Police protection; Providing consultation and information in the field of emergency medical response services for communities featuring emergency and disaster preparedness planning and response
