Instrument systems for measuring the properties of molten metal baths, comprised of thermocouples, electrical connectors, sensors for measuring the temperatures of the baths, samplers for measuring the chemical compositions of the baths, probes for immersion in the baths to measure the chemical and physical properties thereof, cups for collecting samples from the baths for further analysis, and related peripherals, namely, signal lights, electronic recorders for storing data obtained from the molten baths, and data displays for providing visual read-outs of measured properties of the baths
