Computer data storage devices, namely, robotic assisted optical library systems for data storage, comprised of a base unit containing optical disc drives, blank optical discs, units for holding optical discs upon which a user's data is stored, and a robotic-controlled assembly for retrieving user-selected optical discs to deliver them to, and return them from, the base unit where such discs are read and the data from them is electronically delivered to locations of the user's choosing, and software therefor; computer software used to manage data stored in data storage devices
