Software as a service (SAAS) services featuring software for collecting vehicle metrics and driver commercial work history, where vehicle metrics includes data such as hard braking, speeding, tired driving, late night driving, and driver commercial work history includes a driver's work history with various commercial work platforms, to develop driver risk ratings and risk histories to allow insurance carriers to rate drivers based on their probability of having an accident, and the likelihood that any resulting liability would have to be borne by the insurance carrier or subrogated to the insurance carrier of a commercial platform for whom the driver was working.
