Providing an instructional process, procedure, directions, and aids that focus on cooking's unique attributes as a teaching tool for using group discussion, cooperative learning and team effort to promote an opportunity for the student to feel included, respected and valued by the group, and which applies a five step program directed toward developing and enhancing organization skills, academic skills, and social skills by emphasizing (i) identification of goals; (ii) determination of plan to accomplish particular activities necessary to achieve identified goals; (iii) completion of specific responsibilities assigned to each student as necessary to achieve identified goals; (iv) management of time so as to complete assigned responsibilities and achieve identified goals on schedule; and (v) experiencing fulfillment from achieving identified goals as desired
